What is a Composite Hose?

A composite hose is manufactured with multiple wrapped layers of specially selected fabrics and films. These fabrics are compressed between internal and external wires that are then wrapped at the optimum angle on specially designed mandrels.

The wires create deep compression grooves between the layers to ensure a seamless and leak-tight seal. Depending on the application, the material and fabric films will be selected to best suit the hose’s use, though the outer layer is always UV and abrasion resistant to ensure longevity.

With multiple fabrication methods available in our workshop, our composite hoses can be fitted with almost any style of end connection in a variety of materials.
